So called Chase back and they are "chasing" it down as I enter this. When I called last month, the IT Supervisor said she saw multiple instances of the issue coming in and thought a QIF fix would be available withinĪ few days and suggested re-trying it then. When I tried my next DL using QIF today (4/7), I got the same INOP issue with the same error msg. I've been working with Chase IT Technical Support about fixing the QIF issue, starting in mid-March. Time, I'll truly up the creek if things stop working - like reports, etc. I've been using Money for so long that I dread the thought of learning something new, but since I rely on it for tracking our finances, especially at tax I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't consider switching to something that's still being supported. With the ofx file, it automatically imported to the correct account with no problems. I also had to tell Money every single time which account to import to. In the past, I just always asked for all transactions and didn't have to worry about duplicates. A few months back when they changed their website, I started getting all sorts of strange things, like the NUM field in Money had N/A in it, and if I asked for just the last statement, I'd be missing some of the transactions. Instead download the QFX file to your desktop. If there's a way to import those formats, I'll give it a try if I have instructions.ĭon't use the QIF file. But since this is no longer supported, I'm stuck.Īny ideas on what I need to do? They also support the OFX format or CSV and Excel. Is fine on their end and that I should contact Microsoft. I called Chase and they tell me that everything Thinking that it was just a glitch, I tried it several times over the course of a week, but I still get the error message. Me that the file is either invalid or corrupt and to contact my financial institution. Now, when I download the file (in QIF format) and attempt to import it into Money, I get an error message telling This has been working fine until this month. At that time, I bought a laptop running Windows 8.1 and downloaded Money Plus from Microsoft and again had it running successfully, even after updatingĮach month when I pay my Chase credit card bill, I download the activity and import it into Money. I have used Money since the mid 1990s and had it running successfully on an XP desktop until 3 years ago.
